I confess that sometimes I get pretty bummed out about mankind- how badly we treat each other and animals. It’s stories like these in the amazing animal rescue videos that restore my faith in humanity. They show the goodness of heart and kindness we are capable of.

Wildlife SOS – Top 16 Animal Rescue Video

Wildlife SOS had some amazing animal rescues in 2016, Leopards, turtles, elephants, barn owls and more were saved. Yay, rescue teams!

Ruby’s Rescue

Ruby found herself trapped in a deep well. She was helpless to get out because she could not climb the steep, rocky walls. Ruby cried out when she saw rescuers at the top of the well. Listen to her – doesn’t it sound like she is crying “Where are you?” Thank you Animal Aid Unlimited rescuers for saving Ruby.

Jordan’s Rescue

This poor dog was spotted in the L.A. River. Hope For Paws was called in for help. An eyewitness reported that the dog was thrown 30 feet down by an animal hater. The dog was in a lot of pain because someone had cut off his foot.  Watch to the end so you can see Jordan enjoying a great life on 3 legs.

Firemen Save Kitten

How precious is this?

Fireman Cory Kalanick rescues an unconscious kitten from a burning house filled with smoke. Then she is given oxygen and wet down to help her recover. (November 2015).

TOP 5 Animal Rescues Video

I am particularly moved by the third segment showing the rescue of a snared coyote. I witnessed a trapped coyote once, dragging its bloody leg in the snow as three truckloads of men with guns descended on it. I still cry when I think of that scene forever burned in my mind. What was its crime? Living.

My thanks to everyone who helped save animals in big and small ways. Thank you for sharing these animal rescue videos.

You too can be a hero for animals. Don’t look away.

Slow down and stay attentive when driving, especially at night.  Watch for animals crossing the road. If you see a wild animal in need of rescue, call your SPCA or animal control for help.

Which rescue was your favorite? Share in the comments.

I truly wish I could answer which is my favorite rescue but they are all equal to me. Plus I just can’t watch all of the videos as it makes me too sad and so angry with mankind! I am with you on that!!
I also want to say that I agree about slowing down, especially at night! Also remember when there is one wild animal – there is usually a second!
Much love to you for spreading the good word about saving animals.

Thank you. You’re right – in the case of deer there may be three or four!

Thank you for sharing this lineup of videos. I agree, we are facing difficult times and sometimes my faith in the good in the world needs rejuvenation. This post came at a great time for that.

I find that I wind up gravitating towards animal rescue connected to my local community and helping conserve aquatic habitats.

Your post is a great reminder that goodness happens every day, and that it can, and does, concur the bad! These animals got help when they needed it – and hopefully everyone is all the better for their wonderful show of empathy. Caring enough to do the right thing!

Jordan’s rescue story breaks my heart. People can be so cruel. Thank goodness there are some big-hearted people out there who do their best to help in these situations.

We worked with vets without borders. And just like this post was uplifting and gives hope, so does their newsletter. It’s international too – like us! Our big thing now is helping to save wildlife habitat from ever expanding “McMansion” home developments. *sigh*

Jordan……..it made me cry to see what had happened to him. Although he had to endure terrible pain from the monsters that hurt him, now he is leading a much better life. Thanks to those that rescued Jordan and have helped him on his journey to recovery and a wonderful life!
